How an orthomosaic is created and what data are needed
An orthomosaic (seamless image) is the result of combining (“stitching”) several orthorectified images into one continuous balanced image with predefined measurement and pictorial characteristics.
Creating an orthomosaic is equalising the brightness and tone of several orthorectified images and then stitching them into a single orthophotomap covering a large area, removing mutual distortions along the image join (stitch) lines.

The INNOTER and partner database contains ready-made orthomosaics (orthoregions) at scales 1:10,000, 1:25,000, 1:50,000. There is experience creating unified orthomosaics of 100,000+ km² at scales 1:10,000, 1:25,000 and others.
Orthomosaics are created from several orthorectified images to the client's technical requirements of any complexity: from Innoter remote sensing data (purchased from third parties or from INNOTER and partner archives) and from the client's materials.
We work with any territories, including complex relief. Survey type: satellite images, aerial photographs, UAV / drone imagery. Survey data, a digital elevation model (DEM) and GCPs are used for orthorectification.
